Sorry, I was busy yesterday so I didn't get to post anything. Most, if not all, of my posts today will be Master of Puppets themed because today is the anniversary of Master's release. In that case, James Hetfield is today's, or yesterday's, featured metalhead. Hetfield provides vocals and rhythm guitar for the greatest band in the world: Metallica. He has performed on every Metallica album and has provided us with more great music than any other musician, in my opinion. He has a wide range of vocal styles from Hit the Lights to Fade to Black to Master of Puppets to Enter Sandman and beyond and each one is great. From No Life 'Til Leather to last year's Lords of Summer, I have yet to find a Metallica song that I hate (Lulu doesn't count, those are Lou Reed songs). There are songs that aren't of my taste (I'm looking at you, St. Anger), but James has yet to deliver a song that I absolutely despise. So, thank you Mr. Hetfield for being the coolest motherfucker around and delivering some of the best, ear-shattering music around.
